This policy explains what personal information MeduMut collects when you use medumut.com or sign up for our emails, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
MeduMut provides language programs for people moving abroad. For anything about your data, email us at hello@medumut.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for our free guide or waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address and first name
- Your consent to receive our emails, and when you gave it
- Basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the form, such as your IP address and browser type
- Whether you open our emails or click links in them, which helps us see which emails are useful
We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To send you the free guide you asked for
- To send you occasional emails with language tips and news about MeduMut programs, including the pilot waitlist
- To protect our forms from spam and abuse
We rely on your consent to email you. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us.
Services we use
We use a small number of trusted providers to run MeduMut. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Brevo stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, the security check on our signup form, which looks at technical signals to tell people from bots.
- Zoho Mail handles email you send to us directly.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they use recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
Our site doesn't set its own advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare and Brevo may use strictly necessary technologies to keep the site and signup form secure and working.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our list, keeping only what we need to make sure we don't email you again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including in the European Union and the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Withdraw your consent to our emails at any time
- Object to or ask us to limit how we use it
- Complain to your local data protection authority

Children
Our emails and programs are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.
